Q) Everyone has that aha! moment in their life when they figure out what they really wanted to do as a career. What was the first sign that you were meant for the events and meeting industry?
A) The events industry found me and I am so glad it did. I was working in Food & Beverage at a hotel and an opportunity presented itself to me to be a Conference Service Manager– it wasn’t on my radar- and that’s when my love of this side of the industry started.

Q) How did you learn about Red Velvet Events?
A) I worked with RVE at past companies and always enjoyed working with the team and seeing the events they created.

Q) RVE’s love for Austin is well known. What’s your very favorite thing about Austin?
A) I love the culinary scene and the fact that I don’t have to be dressed up for an amazing meal – meaning I can be in flip-flops. 😊

Q) Nothing’s perfect – not even our beloved city. If money and time were no object, what’s the one thing you would change about Austin?
A) Parking – I’m not the best at parallel parking, so I tend to drive around for a bit trying to find a parking space.

Q) Everyone says they’re detail oriented. But what secret trait about you really demonstrates your commitment to order and details? (for example, do you separate cold and non-cold items before you check out at the grocery store, or do you color code your socks?)
A) Everything I need to do is on a list or a calendar and everything has a place – I don’t like clutter. However, my organization might not make sense to everyone (including my husband 😊) but it works for me.
