Q) Everyone has that aha! moment in their life when they figure out what they really wanted to do as a career. What was the first sign that you were meant for the events and meeting industry?
A) It was during my year overseas as a high school exchange student that I experienced so many exciting events that lit the fire to my love for the event industry. Coming back to my quaint hometown I had a burning desire to share what I have learnt.

Q) How did you learn about Red Velvet Events?
A) I did a little research of the event companies in Austin before leaving Europe, but the big research started when I actually moved to Austin and the Domain area. I made friends with local retailers who only had great things to say about Red Velvet and their events.

Q) RVE’s love for Austin is well known. What’s your very favorite thing about Austin?
A) My first impression has been the lasting impression, there are so many different ways you can be active and enjoy the beautiful nature and sunshine that Austin has to offer. I love the small-town feeling Austin gives out, but yet, it is an ever-growing city with everything that comes with it.

Q) Nothing’s perfect – not even our beloved city. If money and time were no object, what’s the one thing you would change about Austin?
A) I wish there was a better public transportation system that would allow people to explore Austin without having to drive everywhere and look for parking.

Q) Everyone says they’re detail oriented. But what secret trait about you really demonstrates your commitment to order and details? (for example, do you separate cold and non-cold items before you check out at the grocery store, or do you color code your socks?)
A) Every time I travel, I make a list of personalized gifts I want to bring back for my family and friends. Nothing compares to the excitement on their faces when they realize that the gift was really chosen just for them.
